Objectives:
This course provides training for apprentices in the automotive industry. Available streams include Agricultural Mechanical, Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment, Heavy Vehicle Road Transport, Light Vehicle and Motorcycle. This qualification requires a total of 36 units; a maximum of 20 units may be at level 2 and a maximum of 2 units at level 4. The following units are compulsory: AURC270103A Apply safe working practices. AURT366108A Carry out diagnostic procedures. AURT271781A Implement and monitor environmental regulations in the automotive mechanical industry. Individual training plans are completed for each apprentice outlining the elective units for each year. Units listed below are for Light Stream, units may vary for all other streams.
Entry Requirements:
Participants must be employed as an automotive apprentice and have completed a registered training agreement.
