Objectives:
This double degree prepares graduates for a career in secondary teaching in the areas of Performing Arts, Visual Art, Computing or Design and Technology in the secondary school system. Students combine professional education studies with specialist content studies in two teaching areas. Graduates will have a qualification in both Education and the Creative Arts and will be highly skilled and knowledgeable practitioners allowing them to access a wide range of career‑related opportunities
Entry Requirements:
Minimum admission requirements apply to enter this course. Special admission requirements Applicants will be required to have a portfolio, interview or audition for the Performance and Visual Arts majors. All students enrolling in this course will be required to submit a National Criminal History Check Information Clearance (Crimtrac) before commencing their first period of Professional Practice - further information can be found at the Department of Education and Training Screening website. All students aged 18 years and over, will also need to apply for a Working with Children Check in order to complete their Professional Practice - further information can be found at the Working With Children Check website.
