Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Communication And Cultural Studies - Casuarina - Northern Territory Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Communication And Cultural Studies - Casuarina - Northern Territory
Objectives:
The combined Arts/Communication degree attracts students who want a double-degree qualification that provides them with the generic skills and understanding of human society provided by an Arts degree as well as the specialised knowledge and vocational skills associated with a Communication degree. The combination of the two degrees meets the need for both a general education in the humanities and social sciences and a specialist degree in the area of communication studies. The Communications degree program offers a mixture of 'hands on' media, policy and theoretical units. Students learn about the rise of the information economy and the trend towards globalisation. The Communications and Cultural Studies degree program is similar in format to Communication and Cultural Studies degrees offered by all major institutions in Australia. This facilitates cross-institutional enrolment and credit transfers.
Entry Requirements:
This course is no longer available for admission. It is only open to existing students who have already been offered a place and completed one or more units of study.
Award:
Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Communication And Cultural Studies
