This qualification provides students with administrative and organisational skills, specialist skills such as word-processing, presentation and desktop publishing, knowledge of financial accounting and general skills for working in customer service teams. This qualification requires a total of 10 units; 4 units from the specialist administration domain, 3 common business units plus 3 other units.

Career Opportunities:
Successful students will be qualified to seek any form of secretarial or office administration employment in positions such as administrative assistant, personal assistant and front-of-house positions in a variety of industry sectors. At Certificate IV level, students may be employed in senior positions including office supervisor, assistant accountant, executive secretary, medical or legal secretary.
