Objectives:
The fashion industry is an exciting place to work. It requires practical skills as well as creative flair and an eye for colour, design, function and form. At GippsTAFE you'll develop your skills through hands on, project based learning. All courses include a high level of interaction with industry. This course will give you a broad overview of fashion design. You'll develop a deeper understanding of fibres and fabrics as well as gaining skills in design, fabric selection, cutting, garment construction and finishing. You'll train under expert staff with up-to-the minute industry experience.
Entry Requirements:
* Interview, folio and appropriate past academic performance * Preference will be given to students who have completed Certificate I in Textiles, Clothing and Footwear.
