  • Objectives
    This course provides the opportunity to build a qualification from a variety of skill sets, such as seasonal work in the shearing industry, fruit picking/pruning, fire wood harvesting and fencing. Alternatively, the industry sector you are currently working in may require a wide range of job tasks such as machinery operation, some farm work and customer service. The fertiliser industry is an industry sector BRIT has designed training programs for. Recognition of your skills can be formalised through this course.
  • Entry requirements
    Basic literacy and numeracy. You must be physically fit and prepared to work in an outdoor environment. Other Entry Requirements You must be at least 16 years of age and employed in a commercial rural focused business or businesses.

    Key Study Areas      

    This is a very flexible qualification, with the opportunity to include units of competency from other relevant training packages (e.g. transport and distribution, food processing, retail, rural merchandise).

    Duration Options

    Training program available for the Certificate III in Rural Operations, is:

    The total duration of the training program will be defined by the negotiated training plan, however you are encouraged to complete this qualification within 36 months.
