Objectives:
This course can provide graduates with the necessary training and formal qualifications required for registration and employment as a gym instructor. In this course, students may learn how to plan exercise programs for clients; evaluate posture; gauge muscle strength and range of motion; and demonstrate the use of a broad range of fitness equipment.

Applicants must be holders of Certificate III in Fitness or equivalent

Certificate IV in Fitness

Assessment
Assessment is by a combination of internal, external and workplace theory and practical examinations and assessment activities, including: practical demonstrations, practical experiences, practical demonstrations in simulated work conditions, problem solving, documents/folio, journals, interviews, case studies, projects, group discussions.

Enrolment – Fees and Charges
Tuition fees range between a minimum of $67.00 and a maximum of $1,069.00, depending on hours of tuition and eligibility for concession. This fee may be subject to an annual increase, in accordance with the Consumer Price Index (CPI). A fee-cap period (a continuous 12 month period commencing on the date of the first course enrolment) applies to each student. Course-related materials fees may also apply, to cover additional charges such as tools, excursions or First Aid Training. All fees are payable at the time of enrolment.
