Objectives:
Students will study the Certificate IV in Information Technology (Multimedia) concurrently with the Certificate IV in Information Technology (Website) which will allow successful students to complete both Certificate IV qualifications. The courses are comprised of a set of industry developed and nationally endorsed competencies and will provide a breadth of knowledge and skills which include design, website development and performance monitoring, project management, all aspects of multimedia presentations including web, programming and network security.

Course Outline
Students will study the Certificate IV in Information Technology (Multimedia) concurrently with the Certificate IV in Information Technology (Website) which will allow successful students to complete both Certificate IV qualifications. The courses are comprised of a set of industry developed and nationally endorsed competencies and will provide a breadth of knowledge and skills which include design, website development and performance monitoring, project management, all aspects of multimedia presentations including web, programming and network security. Students will use a variety of software from Adobe including Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and Dreamweaver; as well as Microsoft.Net, HTML and 3D animation using Maya.
