The course duration is 36 weeks. Upon completion of this course, successful students will receive a Certificate II in Furnishing (Cabinet Making). Assessment is internal and progressive. The course consists of 12 units of competency including 2 units chosen from the electives.
Applications are open to persons 16 years of age and over. Selection criteria includes: motivation to undertake the course and sufficient knowledge of the English language to read and understand health and safety warnings.

This course is designed to provide training for students intending to enter the field of furniture manufacturing, such as Cabinet Making, Wood Machining or Furniture Polishing.
