Objectives:
This course provides educational opportunities for adults (or students of any age) to enhance their literacy, numeracy and general education skills, helping to improve employment prospects and provide a pathway to further training and education. The course also assists students to meet their personal needs and increase their participation in the community. At this level students extend their skill base and develop an independent study approach as preparation for employment, further study or personal development. This qualification requires 1 Core Unit plus 230-250 hours made up of any 4 Core Skills and Special Interest electives.
