Chisholm is an Institute for delivering technical and further education.
What that means is constantly changing because the world is changing so fast.
The education need changes as the needs of industry change.
Technical education changes as technology changes.
As does how we deliver training and knowledge.

While you read this, Chisholm is delivering over 220 certificate, diploma, advanced diploma and graduate courses, as well as over 300 vocational, technical and recreational short courses. Some are full time, some are part time. Some are self-paced, some are delivered entirely online.

On this day, Chisholm students will range from secondary school students doing work-skills subjects as part of their high school certificate to university graduates broadening their technical skills. There will be people doing trade training as part of their apprenticeship, and others gaining the industry skills to qualify for an apprenticeship. There will be people of all ages, and all walks of life, from all over the world – being trained by teachers with industry experience, who are constantly keeping up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

This training could be taking place at one of the six Chisholm campuses in Melbourne’s south east – Bass Coast, Berwick, Cranbourne, Dandenong, Frankston, and Rosebud. There will also be people in many workplaces, undertaking programs designed specifically for their workplace situations. In other parts of the world as well, Chisholm will be working in collaboration with industry, government and educators to deliver Australian accredited courses, English language programs, teacher training, and other specifically designed programs.
