  • Objectives Adopts a contemporary international approach to Counter terrorism, Security and Intelligence. Prepares students for the new world of preventing, managing and responding to issues and events which are detrimental to individuals, organisations, communities and nations. The development of multi-skilled operators who are able to lead organisational and community initiatives in this field as well as provide expert advice and planning are key outcomes of these units. This course will provide the professional operator with underpinned knowledge of international relations, terrorism and its prevention/management, security in the community,organisational and infrastructure context and the skills to operate within a specialised branch or discipline within the counter terror arena.

    Bachelor of Counter Terrorism Security and Intelligence students can study unitsets in the following disciplines as part of this course:

    This course structure contains information about the units which comprise the course as well as the credit points required to successfully complete it.

    Students are required to complete 240 credit points(16 core units) offered across four schools and to choose a major of 120 credit points(8 units)offered from Security Science, Computer Studies, and Law and Justice.
