Master of Financial Management

  • Objectives This program is designed to suit specialists in accounting or finance, or professionals offering advice in these areas. The program content will provide students with the knowledge and analytical skills to address the financial management and decision making aspects of the organisation.

    About Financial Management

    Financial managers of the future will have the competency to properly implement the functions of financial management and the ability to deal with international markets. They will recognise the significance of economic and business trends in the Asia-Pacific area and understand the importance of culture as a prerequisite to successful business.

    The Master of Financial Management program provides students with the knowledge and analytical skills to address the financial management and decision making aspects of an organisation.

    For those already a few years into a career, there is every possibility that your business or management experience will gain you entry into a program that will put you in line for a top management position.


    Career Opportunities

    If you are looking for a career working within international monetary markets and systems or providing risk analysis, foreign exchange risk management, multinational working capital management or foreign investment analysis, this program provides the tools and knowledge to get you there.  Particular career focus areas are financial market analysis, banking, investment houses, government departments and financial brokering.


    Students must complete 12 courses (96 units of credit) to graduate with the Master of Financial Management.

        * 3 elective postgraduate courses.
