Course descriptionThis course is not available for on-campus study by students on an International student visa.
This course structure contains information about the units which comprise the course as well as the credit points required to successfully complete it.
The course normally requires two years of full-time study or its part-time equivalent. The Master of Science (Information Science) by Research has two stages: Stage 1 Research methods and proposal and Stage 2 Research leading to submission of a Master of Science (Information Science) thesis.

The thesis component of this course is entirely research based. Each semester students nominate if they wish to enrol into the research thesis unit: CSG6200 at 50% or 100% full-time enrolment. Students are required to continue re-enrolling in the thesis component of their study until the thesis is submitted for examination.
