    MAJOR General Studies and Major Curriculum Studies. Year One Select one first year unit from each of History, Geography, Politics and Economics. Select a fifth first year unit from from sociology/anthropology, aboriginal studies or religious studies.Year Two Select one second year unit from each of two of the disciplines chosen in Year One, but only from History, Economics, Geography or Politics.Year Three Select Two Third year units in each of two disciplines studied previously in Year Two. Select the two curriculum units for Majors: SSE 2130 and SSE2230.Year Four Select two units in each of two disciplines studied previously in Year Three and a third unit of your choice, however, you are advised to select a unit that is part of the senior school Society & Environment learning area's courses of study. MINOR General Studies and MINOR Curriculum Studies Select one first year general studies unit from each of History, Geography, Politics and Economics. Select the two curriculum studies units for Minors: SSE 3110 & SSE 3213. COURSE INFORMATION Major students are advised to select the Social Sciences that are part of the Year 11 and 12 Society & Environment / Social Science Curriculum (i.e. History, Geography, Politics and Government, and Economics). Economics is offered by the Faculty of Business and Law. Consult the School of Education Course Coordinator regarding selection of General Studies units.
