  This major, which can be undertaken as part of the Bachelor of Commerce, will give you an understanding of how the choices made by government, producers and consumers impact on economic growth, unemployment, inflation, poverty and wealth. You’ll develop analytical skills which are highly valued in careers in the business world.   This major has been designed for those who seek careers in both the public and private sector. Students will acquire good analytical skills which are highly valued in careers in the business world. Areas of specialisation include: international economics, public finance, and labour economics. Graduates are eligible for associate professional membership of the Economic Society of Australia (WA Branch).
