    The honours course consists of a fourth year after students have completed a Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent.

    Students completing a Bachelor of Computer Science within the school (or a comparable undergraduate degree) who normally have a minimum undergraduate course average of 70% may apply for admission to the honours course.

    The honours award has two components. The first comprises a study of research methods and two content units chosen in conjunction with the supervisor; the second takes the form of a major honours project.
