Comments about Certificate II in Agriculture (Dairy Production) - On Campus - Geelong - Victoria
Certificate II in Agriculture, Certificate II in Agriculture (Dairy Production) and Certificate II in Agriculture (Grain Production) are traineeships specifically designed for people working in rural industries. These practical courses will develop your technical, husbandry and/or farming skills. The courses combine hands-on farm work and training in a rural environment. The Certificate II in Agriculture will enable you to work effectively in the rural industry in a supervised capacity. Several streams are available in each course to enable you to select an area of specialisation. Each stream has a list of competencies that may be chosen. These streams encourage students to focus their study on beef production, dairy production, grain production, poultry production and sheep and wool production. Certificate II in Agriculture graduates can look forward to working on properties or rural enterprises engaged in primary production. Certificate III in Agriculture graduates will be able to work in the same industries in more senior roles.
You must be currently employed as a trainee under a training contract. You will need to undertake a Pre-training Review to determine your current skills and literacy and numeracy abilities. This Review will form the basis of your Individual Training Plan.
