    TELEVISION ANTENNA INSTALLATION
    The Television Antenna Installation course covers a range of job-specific and practical broad-based skills designed to prepare students for a career in Television Antenna Installation or Television Signal Source Installation.

    Students will learn how to:
    • Select and locate television signal sources
    • Select and use modern passive and active distribution components
    • Select and terminate cables
    • Install television antennas and distribution systems
    • Meet Occupational Health and Safety standards
    • Deal with Customers
    • Use and interpret field strength meter and spectrum analyser instruments
    • Design small and large signal distribution systems

    Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a nationally-recognised Certificate: Certificate II in Antenna Equipment.

    Entrance Requirements
    No formal entry requirement for non trainees
    Formal Training Contract for trainees with employer.

    The program is to be conducted at the Berwick Campus in the evening

    Course Structure
    Part-time: 1 year

    At the completion of the course, students are expected to have completed all core and nominated optional competencies undertaken. A brief summary of topics is shown over page.
