    in a general practice, medical specialist practice or hospital.

    Duration
    Full time: 1 year (including Certificate II in Business) or *6 months with relevant experience
    Part time: 2 years (including Certificate II in Business) or *1 year with relevant experience
    *Students, with previous relevant experience, will be required to provide evidence and
    successfully complete departmental documentation designed to assess previous skills and
    knowledge, via the Skills Recognition process.

    Entrance Requirements
    Good written communication skills. Certificate II in Business or equivalent underpinning
    knowledge and skills, as shown through the Skills Recognition process.

    This unit covers the skills and knowledge required to develop keyboard skills with speed and
    accuracy using touch typing techniques

    Participate in OHS processes

    Interpret and apply medical terminology appropriately
