Comments about Certificate IV in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Management) - On Campus - Geelong - Victoria
These nationally recognised qualifications in cleaning operations and management are the training standards in the cleaning industry. The courses are specifically for staff who are working as contract cleaners or in-house cleaners in a variety of settings including retail centres, office blocks, health care and aged care and the industrial sector. Certificate IV is for people who want to be cleaning supervisors. Students will acquire the knowledge and skills needed to perform team leader/supervisory duties and to undertake and lead specialist cleaning operations. This provides a sound knowledge base for operating a business and managing cleaning contracts. Students who enrol in Certificate IV in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Management) must have successfully completed both Certificate II and Certificate III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations). All cleaning courses offer students hands-on practical and technical skills. The higher-level qualifications also focus on management and supervisory skills.
You will be expected to have relevant language, literacy and numeracy skills at the level that will equip you to achieve the outcomes of the course. You must also read and write documents and complete maths concepts to a Year 10 qualification*. Attendance at an information session is required and your skills may be evaluated at this time. * If you cannot read and write documents and complete maths work to the level required you may still be accepted in to your course/s, but you may be enrolled in additional subjects to help you build the skills needed to successfully complete the program/s.
