Pathway Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy covers skin science, anatomy and physiology of the skin and body, nutrition and cosmetic chemistry in relation to beauty therapy products and treatments. Pathway Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy focuses on learning the latest techniques in Facial and Advanced Facial treatments recognised in industry today. You will be eligible to receive the Pathway Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy on successful completion of required competencies. This course is based at the Gordon’s City Campus, Fenwick St, Geelong and is delivered by the School of Business and Management.
  • Entry requirements
    If you would like to study the Pathway Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy you must apply directly to the Gordon institute of TAFE. You will need to complete a direct entry application form, which is available from course information. Pathway Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy requires students to be at least 18 years of age. Applicants who have successfully completed the Certificate III in Beauty Services may apply for the Pathway Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy. You will be expected to have suitable language, literacy and numeracy skills needed to undertake this course.

    Duration
    Pathway Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy is a part-time course. Students can expect approximately 6-9 hours of class attendance each week over three nights. Student intakes are generally in February only.

    Selection Criteria
    Students who meet the above entry requirements will be accepted to study the Pathway Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy in date order of their application.
