    How is the Course Structured?
The course is part-time 1 – 3 years and is based completely on elective choices. Five distinct streams are available, which are:
1 Electrical business management and contracting
    2Programmable logic controllers
    3Motor control
    4Industrial control
    5Mechatronics

To be eligible for the award of the Certificate IV in Electrical, learners must possess a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Systems Electrician, or other relevant engineering discipline and also complete any five units from the table on the next page. Any three units from an identified stream will constitute a specialisation, which may be noted on the certificate.
Learners not meeting the full course requirements will be issued with a Statement of Attainment identifying those units of competency, which have been successfully completed.

    Is this Course Recognised?
This course is recognised by the State Training Board in Victoria and nationally by other State Training Authorities.
