  • Objectives
    You will be exposed to a dynamic set of Management practice and contemporary skills that are required to meet the rigors of today’s workplace environment. For those wishing to secure employment in the area of Management who have completed a secondary education together with workplace experience and or Certificate 4 management background and looking to secure a viable post secondary setting to study Management. Others who may have built up a range of workplace experiences already in supervisory or middle management rolls who wish to formalise those practical applications and in doing so gain a broader understanding and in turn recognition of both the skills that have already been achieved together with new knowledge resulting in both currency and acknowledgement of their certificated achievement.

    Course Outline
    This course has been designed to develop best practice management skills for frontline and middle managers in private and public sector organisations.

    Campuses
    Berwick ( Full time)
    Dandenong, Berwick, Frankston & Cranbourne Evening Classes (Part-time only)
    All classes run subject to attainment of minimum numbers.

    Duration
    Full-time: 6 months This course commences mid year as a follow on from the Certificate IV in Frontline Management
    Part-time: 2 years pending class attendance

    Entrance Requirements
    Applicants have a Certificate IV in Frontline Management qualification or equivalent or
    provide evidence of competency in the majority of the units in the Certificate IV in Frontline Management. or Vocational/ Work place experience in management with responsibility for managing the work performance of others and for making and implementing strategic decisions related to their operations.

    Selection Criteria Applicants will be required to submit evidence to meet the above entrance requirements. Application Procedure Full- time students must apply through VTAC. This applies to both current year 12 students and also mature aged students.
    Part – time students apply directly through the Institute Potential students may phone anytime during the year to be placed on a waiting list for the next enrolments. Enrolment sessions are held in December and June.
