  • Course description
The Graduate Diploma in Agricultural Science is a research-led national and international focused program for students who wish to build a professional career in a specialised area of the agricultural sciences.

With climate change and Australia’s history of drought, it is critical that agricultural industries find new ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and use water, fuel, electricity, and fertiliser more efficiently.

There is a lot of important research to be undertaken and highly skilled people with the capacity to make strategic decisions are in strong demand.

Graduates are well placed to tackle sustainability challenges, with an understanding of the issues underpinning advances in food and fibre production within the Australian and international agriculture sectors.

    Structure

The Graduate Diploma in Agricultural Science is completed over one year of full-time or part-time equivalent study and comprises seven core subjects and the choice out of two selective subjects
