    This course will enable you to gain advancement in the mining industry, and will assist the enterprise you work for to meet its legislation compliance obligations.

    This course includes 12 mandatory units covering safety, quality, environmental work practices, first aid, sampling, navigation, four-wheel drive vehicles, records and equipment. In addition to this you will be asked to nominate six electives from areas such as:

        * Planning field trips
        * Geological field assistance
        * Maintenance
        * Preparing drill sites
        * Environmental rehabilitation
        * Operating in remote situations
