  • Entry requirements To gain entry to this program, students must have: * two years current work experience plus a bachelor degree in any discipline from an Australian university or college, or equivalent; or * an honours degree in any discipline from an Australian university or college, or equivalent; or * a CQU Graduate Diploma of Management, or equivalent.

    Marketing is a dynamic field that combines both creative ability and analytical skills.  The need to employ marketing specialists to boost sales and increase profits is increasing for businesses trying to remain competitive.

    The Master of Management (Marketing) aims to provide specialist marketing education and training that will permit graduates to operate as marketing specialists in the international and domestic business sphere by combining a comprehensive range of marketing management courses with opportunities to choose electives from other fields of interest.

    For those already a few years into a career, there is every possibility that your business or management experience will gain you entry into a masters level management degree program that will put you in line for a top management position.

    Program Structure

    Students must complete 9 courses (72 units of credit) to graduate with the Master of Management (Marketing).

    These courses will include:

        * 1 compulsory course;
        * 5 marketing related courses (chosen from those listed for this program); and
        * 3 elective courses from the postgraduate courses offered by the Faculty of Business and Informatics.

    plus 3 elective postgraduate courses

    Electives to be chosen from the postgraduate courses offered by the Faculty of Business and Informatics or other postgraduate courses with approval from the Dean.
