    The Bachelor of Education (Primary) is a nationally recognised award in tertiary education.

    It is currently under review for accreditation by the NSW Institute of Teachers and is registered with the Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST).
    Honours

    The Bachelor of Education (Primary) (Honours) is available. Selection is based on teaching skills and academic merit. The Honours component introduces you to research methodology and research in education and equips you for further study in postgraduate programs.
    Graduation requirements

    Bachelor of Education (Primary)
    To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 34 subjects (272 points).

    Bachelor of Education (Primary) (Honours)
    To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 35 subjects (304 points). For students in the Honours stream, determination of the grade of Honours will depend on coursework performance in year four of the course, as well as performance in the research project.
