This course provides the off-the-job training component of a plumbing apprenticeship. You will learn the knowledge, skills and applications required to begin a career as a plumber.
This course is offered as part of a plumbing apprenticeship. You must be employed as a full time plumbing apprentice before applying for enrolment, with an established training agreement between you and your employer.

A plumbing apprenticeship takes up to four years to complete, including part time TAFE study during the first three years. You will be expected to attend a number of one-week study blocks over the first three years of your apprenticeship, with a maximum of nine weeks each year.
• No Selection Process Required
After completion of this course and relevant industry experience you will be eligible to apply for registration as a plumber with the Plumbing Industry Commission, futher study at the Certificate IV level will lead to a Licence and the ability to operate your own business.
