  • Objectives This is a hands-on certificate providing you with the skills and knowledge required to work as a qualified cook in a commercial kitchen. Areas covered are tailored to meet your current workplace requirements, but can include preparing food for a chef, knife skills and safety, and cooking methods.
  • Entry requirements If this course is undertaken as part of apprenticeship you need to be employed.

    Duration Options

    This course can also be undertaken as a separate qualification without an apprenticeship agreement by studying full time over 10 months.  There is also an option to study this course via flexible delivery which can be undertaken over a longer period of time.
