  • Objectives
    Our Bachelor of Sport Science is designed to produce high quality graduates who clearly understand high performance athletes and the processes to achieve greater results for the athletes. This program focuses on an evidence-based approach to build knowledge, information and practical skills across the basic, clinical and high performance sciences. Learning strategies will include a mix of lectures, tutorials and practical classes, problem solving, theoretical reasoning and directed student learning through the case study based model.
  • Entry requirements
    Year 12 results or equivalent results that include English, Maths B and either Chemistry or Physics. Students without year 12 Chemistry maybe required to complete a bridging Chemistry subject. International applicants also need to satisfy English Language Requirements.

    Career Outcomes

    This program provides a solid foundation for students wishing to work with elite or high performance athletes. The program prepares graduates for further study in physiotherapy, exercise physiology or further high performance sport studies. This program is a preferred pathway for postgraduate entry into Bond’s Doctor of Physiotherapy*.

    COMBINED DEGREES / FURTHER STUDY

    To increase the range of career outcomes available many students complete a dual degree or postgraduate study. Popular choices for Bachelor of Sports Science students include:

        * Bachelor of Sports Science / Doctor of Physiotherapy (4 years full-time study)
          Graduate outcomes include qualified physiotherapist*.
          Graduate outcomes include sports teacher.
        * Bachelor of Sports Science / Bachelor of Health Sciences (Sports Science) with Honours (3 years full-time study)

    Scholarships

    We offer a range of scholarships to help students with the costs of tuition. A 100% tuition scholarship is available each year to an Australian resident studying year 12 intending to enrol in our Bachelor of Sports Science.
