Objectives
If a student is to take out the current degree, it is essential that she/he demonstrates the ability to work in a sustained way at a level appropriate to the final year of the degree as it is now. The Victorian College of the Arts therefore considers it appropriate that a student coming into the Bachelor of Dramatic Art with the diploma should acquire another 50 points of final year study.

Candidates must have completed the Diploma of Arts in Dramatic Art (VCA).
Candidates for admission will be required to present a written submission that is designed to test their level of professional accomplishment.

This course enables holders of the Diploma of Dramatic Art (VCA) to convert their qualification into a Bachelor of Dramatic Art (VCA). Students would need to complete units of study comprising 50 points. These units may include a Portfolio of Professional Experience; Special Projects and units from other VCA courses.

Students need to complete units of study comprising 50 points in order to qualify for the Bachelor of Dramatic Art (Acting). Thus a student can enrol for 6 months full-time or one-year part-time.
