The Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education is a 6 month full-time award program that aims to develop professional tertiary educators enriched by cross-institutional community of practice
The Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education has been designed by a consortium of eight universities of which CQUniversity is one of the lead institutions. The GCTE consists of 4 courses to the value of 6 units of credit each. The program consists of one core course at each of the home institutions plus one other course. At CQUniversity the core course is called University Teaching and Learning while the other course (also an elective to the other universities in the consortium) is Educational Technology. In order to be awarded the GCTE from CQUniversity students must undertake the two courses offered from their home institution.
